Track Name: Body is the Enemy
Your body's made of paper mache
You stayed still till the ambulance came
Are you dragging me to a shallow grave
I won't love you either way

I'll drive west, because the coast always seemed more comfy to me anyway. On the way there, I'll sleep in various Walmart parking lots where I feel small, and I can't see the stars over the floodlights. And I'll know I'm lonely, but I won't know I'm lonely because of the alcohol, or the drugs. I'll know I'm lonely because I'll ask somebody about their greatest love, and I won't be able to imagine anyone talking about me like that.
Track Name: Green and Blue
I get so weird at night
And the car is full of garbage
Open up your eyes to a city that you hate
Put a bag over my face

And I'm no good to drive
I almost passed out when they did my blood work
Stumbled through the parking lot, thought I was going to faint
I could feel this overwhelming weight

I am the burden that you wanted to let go
Something meaningfully worthless
I am your problems buried under ice and snow
I served my purpose, I see no difference
Track Name: Grief Cures
Mother Mary candles arranged here in a circle
I'm veering hard, I'll open up the grave
And God will strike me down before you believe a word I'm saying
I could tell you that it's alright, but I know you won't look at it that way
You won't look at it that way
You won't look at it that way
You won't look at it that

I watched a person die then come back to life
A turning, twisted snowstorm to the east
If you point that gun at me, well I don't blame you
Some people call that vengeance, but me, I just call that grief
Yeah I just call that grief
Yeah I just call that grief
Yeah I just call that

Clarence the angel said that no man is a failure who has friends
You're not alone, man
